Azevedo carves thousands of small figures and places them on monuments across the globe where audiences congregate to watch them melt. While she doesn’t claim to be a climate activist, the basis for these interventions is to draw attention to urgent matters that threaten our existence on this planet.

JWT joined with Warner Bros. and the A.C. Camargo Cancer Center in São Paulo, Brazil, to craft a super-powerful campaign designed to help children with cancer better understand their treatment and be less frightened by chemotherapy. The initiative revolves around superheroes.

Colorful chemo-bag covers with the insignia of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern are used to transform the oft-scary drugs into a “Superformula.” Specially drawn comic books tell medically realistic tales of the Justice League defeating cancer-like diseases to resume their war against evil.

EdibleBurgerWrapperHeaderBrazilian fast-food chain Bob’s is giving costumers a Christmas present that they don’t need to unwrap to enjoy. In order to make the point that people love their food so much that they can’t even wait to unwrap it before digging in, they have come up with edible packaging for their burgers. That’s kind of cheating, isn’t it?
